Hi, I’m Flavio Medeiros, the founder of Scoop on Myrtle. I’m a husband, a father to three amazing boys, and someone who loves traveling, the beach, reading, and music.

Four years ago, my family and I made Myrtle Beach our home, and since then, I’ve truly fallen in love with this vibrant community. From the sunny shores to the bustling local scene, I’ve discovered so many hidden gems that I couldn’t help but want to share them with others.

That’s how Scoop on Myrtle was born—a passion project highlighting everything that makes our area special. Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a recent transplant like me, or just visiting, I aim to keep you connected with the latest news, events, and unique experiences that Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand offer.
