CONWAY, S.C. — Downtown Conway is getting a new recurring event this summer as Sunday Funday on the Green prepares to kick off its inaugural season.

Presented by The Clever Cleaver and Lemons & Dough, the event series will bring together local food trucks, vendors, entertainment, and family-friendly activities on select Sundays throughout the summer.

The first event is scheduled for June 14, with additional dates planned for July 12, July 26, August 9, and August 23.

Visitors attending the June kickoff can look forward to a lineup featuring several local favorites, including The Clever Cleaver, Lemons & Dough, Nito's Empanadas, Dirty South Soda Co., Loaded Lobster, Paulie's NY Italian Sausage, and Hawg Dawgs.

Organizers say this is only the beginning, with additional entertainment announcements, vendor spotlights, activities, and surprises expected to be announced leading up to each event date.

The series aims to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere where residents and visitors can enjoy great food, support local businesses, and spend time with family and friends in the heart of downtown Conway.

Food truck vendor spaces for the currently announced dates have already reached capacity, highlighting the strong interest from local businesses. Organizers noted that if additional spots become available, they will provide updates. Tent vendor opportunities are also being explored as approvals are finalized.

With five dates scheduled throughout the summer, Sunday Funday on the Green is shaping up to be a new community tradition for Conway residents looking for good food, local flavor, and a reason to gather downtown.
