1. North Myrtle Beach Access Points
North Myrtle Beach offers a blend of family-friendly beaches and quieter relaxing spots. Here’s where to go:
Cherry Grove Beach
Location: Ocean Boulevard North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Directions: Head north on Ocean Blvd until you reach the Cherry Grove Pier; you’ll find several access points along Ocean Blvd between 53rd Ave N and 63rd Ave N.
Features: Cherry Grove is known for its family-friendly vibe. Along with its wide shoreline, there are free street parking spots, restrooms, and outdoor showers near the Cherry Grove Pier (at 3500 N Ocean Blvd). Perfect for beach picnics, the area also has picnic tables nearby.Ocean Drive Beach
Location: Main Street and Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Directions: Take Main Street towards the beach and turn left or right on Ocean Blvd to find parking along the street.
Features: Known for its proximity to the shops and restaurants of Main Street, this beach has restrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of parking, especially around 1st Ave S. With several access points along Ocean Blvd, you can pick your ideal spot to enjoy the sand and surf.Windy Hill Beach
Location: Windy Hill Rd and Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Directions: Drive south on Highway 17, turn left onto Windy Hill Rd, and continue to Ocean Blvd.
Features: Windy Hill is a quieter spot with free parking along the street. It’s a more relaxed beach access area with nearby restrooms and outdoor showers, ideal for those looking to escape the crowds.
